Ultrasensitive Immunoassays

Ultrasensitive Immunoassays developed by RBM based on the Simoa® technology

Unprecedented Sensitivity Backed by RBM's Immunoassay Service Quality

Quanterix’s single molecule array (Simoa) technology provides ultrasensitive measurement of biomarkers, achieving orders-of-magnitude greater sensitivity than conventional immunoassay platforms. In 2014, RBM began developing high-quality Simoa-based assays that are validated according to clinical laboratory standards. When levels of key protein biomarkers are extremely low in blood plasma or serum, RBM Simoa Services can quantify such biomarkers with high precision and unprecedented sensitivity to deliver an unparalleled approach to clinical research.

RBM continues to apply its assay development expertise to expand our Simoa-based service menu. Currently, RBM Simoa services consist of the following assays.

* Lower limit of quantitation (LLOQ) represents the lowest amount of an analyte that can be quantitatively determined with acceptable precision. LLOQ is determined by performing 2-fold serial dilutions of Standard to be tested in triplicate over three runs. The percent coefficient of variation (CV) is calculated for each of the dilution replicates, and the LLOQ is determined as the concentration at which the CV is 30%.
