Tenascin-C

Tenascin C (TN-C) is an extracellular matrix protein involved in the development of neurons and axons during development, as well as neuronal regeneration. It is also present in bone and tendons, healing wounds, and in the stroma of several types of tumors. Tenascin C exists as a homohexamer and a homotrimer and binds fibronectin.
