Macrophage Colony-Stimulating Factor 1 Olink

Macrophage Colony-Stimulating Factor 1 Olink

Macrophage colony-stimulating factor (M-CSF) was initially described as a factor that stimulates the growth of colonies of macrophages and granulocytes in soft agar. M-CSF influences the proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells into macrophages and also the growth survival and differentiation of monocytes. In addition to its role in inflammation, M-CSF has been shown to play a role in adipocyte hyperplasia.
